Are you doing everything you can to build up your SEO and Social Media tactics?

In 2012, the need for a good network is becoming more and more apparent, but why not start with the site itself! It’s not enough to simply post your stuff online, and hope to build traffic. You’ve got to build a network and that starts with the internal features of your site!

One way of developing your SEO is downloading the right kinds of plug-ins. For example, when you are just starting your blog, you want to get recognized by the search engines! Wel, you can download an All-In-One SEO plug-in that will get your site better indexed by Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other major search engines. There are also set ups for coming up with the right meta tags, keywords, so people can find your posts via those terms!

Another way to help is by downloading an XML Site Map. I use the Google one, so it pings my content a lot quicker after I update! In 2012, there is a bigger emphasis on building more new and relevant content. Fresh, unique content gets you a lot more priority, so try to place your focus on that; build your uniqueness value up! When you develop that type of content, it makes your SEO much more powerful!!

Another thing I HIGHLY recommend is to invest in social bookmarking. I’ve said this once before about Social Media, but that’s where the market is catering to. Building social relationships with people whether it’s actually text, viral video or marketing, is going to be pivotal as I’m previously stated in a post about YouTube.

There are also great plug-ins that help to bring down your bounce rate, so that people search for more items on your site. I highly recommend a plug-in called Simple Reach Slide. It’s excellent because it’s not too abrasive, but it stands out enough for a person to click on the bar. It’s an excellent tactic to help you get leads, click on different links (whether it’s Adsense, Banner Ads, etc).

These are just a few tactics you should be thinking about in your approach for 2012. Remember to build your own social approach, your own SEO, and you’ll really start to rake in the traffic! I hope this helps!
